Mathura and Vrindavan, the twin temple towns of the Braj region, are Yatridham's newest destination focus. Together they centre on Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura and the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, along with the town's many smaller temples and its distinctive evening aartis.
Best time to visit
October to March for comfortable weather. Janmashtami and Holi are especially significant here, though both bring very large crowds.

Mathura and Vrindavan run on a different rhythm from Yatridham’s other destinations — smaller distances between temples, and darshan timings that matter more than travel logistics. We typically start the day at Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura, then move to Vrindavan for Banke Bihari, ISKCON and Prem Mandir, timed around each temple’s opening and aarti hours.
